Abstract
This study described student mathematical communication ability in problem solving linear systems with three variables. Subjects were 3 students, student of mathematical communication of high ability (S1), medium (S2) and low (S3). The indicators of mathematical communication that used in this research are adapted from the NCTM (2000). Data collection was carried out by administering test and conducting interview. Results showed that the student mathematical communication of high ability meet all indicators mathematical communication ability, student mathematical communication of medium meet one indicator mathematical communication ability and student mathematical communication of low do not meet all indicators mathematical communication ability.
