Abstract

VHS Graduated in the manufacturing industry occupies the job of CNC Operator position. The demands needs are in the manufacturing sector, labour has to professional competence. This study aims to identify and describe careers in the VHS Graduated Mechanical Engineering Program of CNC Operator Position. This study uses qualitative research, a multicast study type of research. The results of the research, include: (1) the work and competence of CNC Operator position, sets the machine, make programs, operates the machine; (2) incentives of CNC Operator position, obtained based on grade and holiday incentives; (3) salary of CNC Operator position, range earned by a technician is above the UMK in which area the industry is located.
