Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the strategy stages for writing culinary poetry. This study used a descriptive qualitative design with a type of text analysis. The strategy described is closely related to gastronomy. The results of the strategy analysis show five stages in writing culinary poetry. The five stages consist of determining culinary poetry recipe (culinary stimulation), preparation of culinary poetry tools and materials (reflection of culinary experiences or culinary memory creation), review of culinary poetry (culinary description), cooking culinary poetry process (culinary and literature collaboration), and presentation of culinary poetry (writing culinary poetry).
