Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the 5E learning cycle model on critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts. Learning activities are carried out online using Microsoft 365. This study was conducted on science content with the subjects were the fifth-grade students. The research design used a one-group pretest–posttest design. After the analysis prerequisite test was met, the data were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The results of the study showed that there was effect of the 5E learning cycle model on students' critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts.
