Abstract
Social network analysis (SNA) and learning analytics have become dominant methods for studying online collaboration in higher-education computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL). This study maps the conceptual foundations, empirical patterns, methodological evolution, and intellectual structure of SI-aligned research on online collaborative learning in higher education, and identifies gaps for a future SI-oriented agenda.
