Abstract
This research was conducted to determine attitudes towards science SMP through in-depth analysis using 7 attitude indicators. The study was conducted at SMPN 19 Jambi City with a total sample of 145 students of class VII D, VII E, VII F, VII G, VII H, and VIII H. The research method that the researchers used was a combination of quantitative and qualitative instruments in descriptive. The quantitative instruments were in the form of questionnaires, while the qualitative instruments were in the form of interviews with 1 student, 1 student, and 1 natural science teacher. The results showed students' attitudes toward science subjects were still neutral.
