Abstract
In the learning process in the classroom, it is very important for teachers to strive to create good and enjoyable teaching and learning conditions. A research was carried out with the aim of finding out the effect of classroom management on students' literacy skills. Class management was carried out to achieve effective learning goals so that it could improve students' abilities in mathematics lessons. In this research, it was quantitative research, the population was class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan. and took a sample of 30 students, the data collection technique used a questionnaire/questionnaire technique, using data analysis techniques, namely simple linear regression analysis with the results of the magnitude of influence in classroom management, namely 23.7%, the remaining 76.3% which was not examined by researchers with a significance value of 0.006, this becomes a reference for teachers to improve students' mathematical literacy skills
