Journal Overview

The Journal of Language, Literature, and Arts (JoLLA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia. It provides an academic platform for disseminating original research, scholarly perspectives, and innovations in language, literature, library and information management, cultural studies, and the arts.

Publication Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Indonesian, or other foreign languages relevant to the journal's scope.

Indonesian manuscripts require Indonesian and English abstracts (maximum 200 words each). Other accepted languages require an English abstract of no more than 200 words.

Peer Review Process

JoLLA employs a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by evaluation by independent experts.

Editorial decisions are based on originality, scholarly quality, relevance, and ethical compliance.

JoLLA publishes 12 issues per year, providing regular opportunities for scholarly dissemination.

Open Access and Licensing

JoLLA provides immediate open access to published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) .

Article Processing Charge (APC)

IDR 500,000
Per accepted article

The APC is payable only after formal manuscript acceptance. No APC is charged at submission. Editorial and peer-review decisions are independent of payment.
