Aims and Scope

The Journal of Language, Literature, and Arts (JoLLA) is a scholarly peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research in the fields of language studies, literature, library and information management, and the arts. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to disseminate theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and innovative ideas that contribute to the advancement of these disciplines.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary contributions including, but not limited to:

  • Linguistics and language studies
  • Literature and literary criticism
  • Library and information management
  • Cultural studies
  • Performing and visual arts
  • Arts education and creative practices

JoLLA encourages contributions that advance theoretical discussions, report empirical research findings, and explore innovative approaches within the scope of language, literature, information science, and arts.

All submissions must present original work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Indonesian, or other foreign languages relevant to the journal’s scope.

Peer Review Policy

JoLLA implements a double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial team to ensure they fit the journal’s aims and scope and comply with the submission guidelines. Suitable manuscripts are then reviewed by independent experts in the relevant field.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published monthly, with 12 issues per year.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content in order to support the global exchange of knowledge and increase the visibility of scholarly research.
