Abstract
This study is a qualitative descriptive study aims at describing the implementation of 2013 Curriculum in SMP Negeri 1 Kupang Tengah Kupang Regency. The samples of this study were seven teachers and principals in SMP Negeri 1 Kupang Tengah. The data collection was done by conducting observation and interviews. The obtained data from observations and interviews were analyzed descriptively. The research results showed that the readiness of school and teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum remains downplayed. The willingness of the aspects of infrastructure is available, however, the teachers are still experiencing difficulties in making the learning and classroom management is managed using a scientific approach.
