Abstract
This study aimed to investigate how the Inquiry-Based Learning strategy can improve the speaking skills of the students. This collaborative classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The result of this study revealed the average speaking met the first criterion of success. Considering to the result of the questionnaire toward the students’ attitude after joining the implementation of the teaching strategy, most of the students had good respond to the implementation of IBL.
