Abstract
The application of Montessori learning model is able to form the character of early childhood discipline optimally. The focus of this research is planning, implementing and evaluating the Montessori learning model in shaping the character of discipline in children at Tk Aba 36 Malang. This research uses qualitative methods, the type of research is a case study. Data collection are techniques of observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the formation of disciplinary character through habituation, role model and consistency so as to make children able to be self-disciplined, independent and responsible. So that, children develop very well in arranging their own shoes, lining up for washing hands, returning toys, keeping classrooms clean and disposing of trash in its place.
