Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is to describe the use of a PjBL-based smart box that can increase the creativity and involvement of parents in learning the material of cube and block for class V students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design (CAR) which consisted of two cycles. The data was collected by observing and distributing the questionnaire sheet for the involvement of parents to the guardians of the fifth-grade students, which amounted to 30 people. The results showed that learning using a PjBL-based smart boxes could increase the creativity and involvement of parents in learning materials for class V cube and block students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
