Abstract
This study aims to describe the students’ understanding of quadrilateral concept through problem posing based on advance organizer. The teacher makes a map of quadrilateral concept to facilitate student understanding. Followed by problem posing learning which has three steps. Accepting, students receive material. This activity to find out whether students can provide examples and non-examples of rectangular concepts. Posing, students submit problems. When creating problems, students need to choose the right procedure to get the right results. Third step, solve the problem. This activity to see whether the concepts used can solve problems or not and students can rewrite concepts or not.
