Abstract
This study means to decide the impact of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning results of Science class V understudies in the 2013 educational program. The methodology utilized in this study is a quantitative methodology utilizing numbers and factual examination of information. This exploration configuration utilizes Quasi-Experimental Design, which is a control group that isn't completely practical to control outside factors. The type of exploration is Nonequivalent Control Group Design which is practically equivalent to Pretest-posttest Control Group Design however here, the exploratory gathering and control bunch are not arbitrarily chosen. The subject of this review is class V understudies of N 25 Langki Elementary School which is into 2 classes, to be specific 10 experiment class individuals and 10 control class individuals. Learning instruments in the form of RPP that apply the PBL model, while learning results are obtained with instruments of 10 multiple choice questions and five stuffing questions. The results showed a 2-tailed sig score of 0.004 in the student posttest. Based on decision-making guidelines, the 2-tailed sig value of 0.004 is smaller than 0.05. So it was concluded that there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes in classes that applied the PBL model and classes that applied conventional models.
