Journal Description

Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). The journal provides an international forum for the dissemination of high-quality research and scholarly discussions related to innovation in teacher education and the development of teacher professionalism across diverse educational contexts.

JITPro publishes original research articles, review papers, and conceptual studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of teacher education, curriculum development, educational policy, and in-service teacher professional development. The journal also welcomes studies addressing contemporary issues and challenges faced by teacher educators, researchers, and practitioners within the broader domain of educational sciences.

The journal particularly encourages contributions that offer critical perspectives, innovative approaches, and re-conceptualized frameworks in teacher education. Articles that clearly articulate the relationship between educational theory and classroom practice are strongly encouraged, as they provide valuable insights for academics, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to improve teaching quality and educational outcomes.

JITPro is published three times annually (April, August, and December) and accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian or English. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

The journal follows an open access policy, allowing unrestricted access to all published articles in order to support the global dissemination of knowledge. JITPro does not charge submission, processing, or publication fees (APC), ensuring equitable opportunities for authors to publish their work.
