About This Journal
Journal of Innovation and Teacher Professionalism (JITPro) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Graduate School, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia. Published three times a year (April, August, and December), the journal provides an international forum for disseminating high-quality research and scholarly discussion that advances teacher education, teacher professionalism, and educational innovation across diverse educational contexts.
JITPro publishes original research articles, review articles, and conceptual papers covering a broad range of topics, including teacher professionalism, curriculum and instructional innovation, pedagogical transformation, educational technology, digital learning, assessment and evaluation, educational leadership, educational policy, inclusive education, teacher identity and agency, and continuous professional development. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that bridge educational theory, policy, research, and professional practice while addressing contemporary educational challenges.
JITPro is accredited at SINTA 4 under Decree No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and are evaluated based on originality, methodological soundness, academic quality, and scholarly contribution.
As an open-access journal, JITPro provides immediate and unrestricted access to all published content, supporting the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge and equitable access to research worldwide. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. To ensure the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of published content, the journal participates in the CLOCKSS digital preservation archive through the Digital Commons Journals (Elsevier) publishing platform.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 applies only to accepted manuscripts in accordance with Universitas Negeri Malang regulations for nationally accredited journals. The APC supports editorial management, peer-review administration, production, and online publication services.
