Aims & Scope

Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) focuses on research that advances the theory and practice of teaching and learning in science education.

The journal particularly emphasizes studies on learners' conceptual understanding, misconceptions and conceptual change, scientific reasoning and problem-solving, instructional and assessment innovation, technology-enhanced learning, STEM/STEAM education, and science teacher education.

JPS welcomes original research and review articles in areas including:

  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics Education;
  • Basic and Integrated Science Education;
  • Inquiry-Based Learning, Scaffolding, and Problem-Solving;
