Abstract

Environment education as a local content subject in Senior High School has not yet been developed through a comprehensive and appropriate lesson planning which facilitates the develop-ment of students’ knowledge, attitude and skill for this field. This research was aimed to develop a learning instruments for environment Education based on Group Investigation models which consists of syllabus, lesson plans, handouts, worksheets, and assessment instruments. Validity tests on these learning instruments giving an “appropriate” mark. Individual test on worksheets and handouts showed an appropriate readability. These learning instruments effectively support the achievement of students’ mastery on knowledge, attitude, and skill, as well, through a classical learning.
