Abstract

This study aimed to analyze students’ conceptual mastery of Simple Harmonic Motion through guided inquiry learning assisted by online multimedia. The study involved 36 tenth-grade natural science students at SMA Negeri 4 Jember. A multiple-choice test was used to measure students’ conceptual mastery and was administered before and after the learning process. The data obtained were analyzed using a mixed-method approach with an embedded experimental design. The results showed that the improvement in students’ conceptual mastery was influenced by the guided inquiry learning model assisted by online multimedia. Based on the effect size value, the learning implementation had a strong effect category. In addition, the average increase in students’ conceptual mastery was categorized as high.
