Abstract

Ethical education and teacher professionalism have an important role in shaping the character and profile of teachers under Pancasila values. However, the implementation of this education in the ed-ucational curriculum often encounters various challenges. The literature review method was used in this research to examine three journals related to strengthening the profile of Pancasila teachers through courses on ethics and teacher professionalism. This research aims to evaluate the effective-ness of courses on ethics and teacher professionalism in instilling and strengthening Pancasila values in prospective candidates. Teacher. The research methods used in the journals reviewed include qualitative with a case study design, experiments with a one group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design, and analysis of learning documents. Data collection techniques include classroom observa-tions, interviews with lecturers and students, as well as tests and observations. The results of the literature review show that courses on teacher ethics and professionalism are effective in instilling and strengthening Pancasila values in prospective teachers. The enthusiasm of students in learning the values of Pancasila and their ability to apply them in daily life and the learning process shows the great potential of this course in producing teachers of quality and integrity. Therefore, strengthening the profile of Pancasila teachers through courses on ethics and teacher professionalism is the right step in preparing qualified teacher candidates to educate Indonesia's young generation.
