Abstract
This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of student worksheets designed according to the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model in improving students’ collaboration skills on the topic of alternative electrical energy sources in Grade 9 at SMP Negeri 12 Malang. In the context of twenty-first-century education, collaboration is increasingly important because of the challenges students face in the information era. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a one-shot case study design. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and tests to measure collaboration skills and learning outcomes. The results show that implementing TPS significantly improved the quality of lesson implementation by the teacher, and most students achieved learning mastery. Although most students demonstrated active involvement, maintaining consistent engagement remained a challenge. The study concludes that the use of TPS-based worksheets not only increased student participation but also contributed to better learning outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of interactive and collaborative teaching methods in creating a more effective learning environment.
