Abstract
Discovery Learning is a problem-based instructional method that provides students with opportunities to actively explore and learn new concepts, including operator types in programming. In digital learning, Instagram offers interactive features that have potential for use in this method. This study aimed to develop presentation materials integrating the Discovery Learning model for programming operators with assessment delivered through Instagram filters. A research and development method using the ADDIE model—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—was employed. The resulting interactive presentation covered basic concepts and the implementation of logical operators in programming and incorporated quiz-based assessments through Instagram filters. The filters enabled students to answer questions directly within Instagram, making learning more engaging while utilizing technology familiar to them. The presentation and filter-based assessment were expected to improve understanding of logical operator concepts and strengthen problem-solving skills. Instagram can therefore provide an interactive and relevant technology-based assessment experience.
