Abstract

Technology and industry have developed rapidly in the twenty-first century, particularly with the emergence of Society 5.0, an era that emphasizes not only technological sophistication but also humanity and social well-being. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data play major roles in improving quality of life and helping address complex social problems. Society 5.0 combines technological progress with human values by using technology more wisely for broader benefit. This transformation also affects education, especially through the integration of AI into learning. AI offers many benefits for teachers and students, including more personalized and efficient learning, but it also creates challenges. Teachers must continue developing digital skills so that their roles as educators and mentors are strengthened rather than displaced. Students require strong guidance from teachers and parents so that they remain responsible and do not become fully dependent on technology, thereby preserving critical thinking and independent learning. With appropriate guidance, AI can enrich students’ learning experiences and improve educational quality.
