Abstract

This study was aimed to build the conscience of the student on sandalwood conservation in support on Local Community of South Central Timor regency of East Nusa Tenggara Province and to produce a textbook for Sandalwood (Santalum album L.) ethno botany of Higher Plant Botany course. The study was designed with a “research development”. Development model used in this study was adapted from the Borg and Gall model. The assessment of the produced textbook resulted that this textbook is appropriate to be used. The result of the field trials showed that 4th year students’ knowledge was increased upon usage of this text book, 100% of students successfully reaching over the Minimum Standard of Mastery.
