Abstract

The ability to master concepts can be developed through the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Thinking Map. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Thinking Map on high school students’ mastery of concepts related to momentum and impulse. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Bombana involving 30 tenth-grade students. The study employed a mixed-method embedded experimental design. The concept mastery test consisted of 25 multiple-choice items with a Cronbach’s alpha reliability value of 0.715. Data were analyzed using a t-test, which yielded a significance value of 0.000, indicating that there was a significant influence of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Thinking Map on students’ mastery of concepts.
