Author Guidelines
Please read these guidelines carefully and prepare your manuscript using the journal template before submitting.

- Manuscripts are research-based or conceptual articles on Arabic linguistics and Arabic language teaching that have not been published or submitted elsewhere, in print or online.
- Manuscripts are written in Arabic or English. Authors writing in a language that is not their first language are encouraged to have the text checked for grammar and clarity before submission.
- Length: 3,000–7,000 words, including references.
- Format: Microsoft Word document, A4 paper, margins 3 cm on all sides, 12-pt font, 1.5 line spacing — please use the journal template (Arabic or English).
- Similarity must not exceed 25%; a similarity report and the signed plagiarism-free statement are uploaded with the manuscript.
- All manuscripts are submitted online. If you encounter problems, contact the editorial office at [email protected].
| Title | Concise and informative, no more than 16 words. |
| Authors & affiliation | Full names without academic titles; complete institution name; corresponding author’s name and e-mail address. |
| Abstract | One paragraph of 100–150 words summarising the purpose, method, main findings and conclusion, dense with key terms. |
| Keywords | Key terms in lower case, separated by commas. |
| Introduction | Background, a short state-of-the-art review, the gap or limitation of previous studies, the novelty of the work, and the objectives stated at the end of the section. |
| Method | Research design, participants or data sources, instruments, procedures and data analysis — in enough detail for the study to be replicated. |
| Results and Discussion | Clear, concise findings followed by interpretation: how they answer the objectives, how they relate to previous studies, their implications and limitations. |
| Conclusion | Answers the research objectives, states the contribution to the field and suggests directions for future research. Do not repeat the abstract. |
Cite only sources referred to in the text and follow the reference style used in the journal template. The use of a reference manager such as Mendeley or Zotero is strongly recommended. Examples:

Every manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers (see Peer Review Process). Revised manuscripts should be returned without delay; revisions returned later than three months are treated as new submissions.

Read and accept the agreement and confirm that the manuscript complies with the checklist below. - Enter the metadata
Enter all authors (mark the corresponding author), title, abstract and keywords. - Upload files
Upload the manuscript prepared with the journal template, plus the similarity report and signed plagiarism-free statement as additional files. - Confirm
Check everything and submit. You will receive a confirmation e-mail and can track the status of your manuscript under My Account.
Submission is free of charge; a publication fee applies only after acceptance — see Author Fees. Published articles are distributed under a CC BY-NC licence.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The manuscript follows the formatting of the journal template (A4, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing); uses italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in these Author Guidelines.
- Author identities have been removed from the manuscript file to ensure a blind review.
